Europe’s agriculture is entering a new era—one where data from satellites, sensors, models, and digital platforms is rapidly transforming how we understand and manage farming systems. Yet one key challenge remains: how to translate this growing wealth of agricultural data into clear, actionable decisions for farmers, advisors, land managers, and policymakers.
To explore this challenge, the AgroTech Hub Cluster is organising a joint webinar titled “From Data to Decisions: Building Europe’s Next-Generation Agri-Data Ecosystem.” The event will bring together several Horizon Europe projects working at the intersection of agriculture, climate innovation, and digital technologies.
- Date: 13 March 2026
- Time: 11:00–12:30 CET
- Format: Online webinar

Turning Agricultural Data into Actionable Insights
Across Europe, agricultural stakeholders are generating and accessing more data than ever before – from Copernicus satellite observations and climate models to farm-level monitoring systems and digital platforms. However, making this information truly useful requires new approaches to interoperability, governance, and decision-support.
The AgroTech Hub webinar will explore how data-driven solutions can support sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and evidence-based policymaking. Speakers will showcase innovative approaches that connect diverse data sources with practical tools that help users make better decisions.
Participants will also discuss key challenges facing the agri-data ecosystem, including:
- Integrating diverse agricultural and environmental datasets
- Ensuring interoperability between digital platforms
- Making complex data accessible and usable for real-world decision-making
- Strengthening trust and governance in digital agricultural systems
Six Horizon Europe Projects, One Shared Vision
The webinar will feature insights from six projects within the AgroTech Hub Cluster, each addressing a different dimension of the agri-data ecosystem:
- NOSTRADAMUS – AI-ready Copernicus data and Data Cube infrastructures supporting decision-making across Europe’s agri-food system.
- LandShift – Land-use modelling tools that support sustainable land management and climate-aware planning.
- AGRARIAN – Digital decision-support systems designed to help farmers improve sustainability and productivity.
- OpenAgri – Open-source platforms and reusable digital services for inclusive and transparent digital agriculture.
- ENFORCE – Policy-oriented approaches using citizen science to support environmental compliance and governance.
- EARTHONE – Data-driven research analysing greenhouse gas emission drivers in Europe’s agriculture and forestry sectors.
Together, these projects demonstrate how data can move beyond monitoring and analysis to become a powerful driver of better decisions.
Strengthening Collaboration Through the AgroTech Hub Cluster
The webinar is organised as part of the AgroTech Hub Cluster, a collaborative platform connecting Horizon Europe projects working on digital agriculture, climate resilience, and sustainable land-use management.
By bringing these initiatives together, the cluster aims to:
- Foster knowledge exchange and collaboration
- Increase the visibility and impact of EU-funded innovation
- Support the development of interoperable and scalable agri-data solutions
- Contribute to the transition toward a more sustainable and climate-resilient European agricultural system
