As part of the first year of the NOSTRADAMUS project, AgFutura Technologies has made important contributions that strengthen the foundations of our work and connect digital innovation with sustainability goals.
Data Integration Report
AgFutura led the production of the Data Integration Report, combining existing agricultural management databases with structured field-level surveys. This deliverable provides the entire consortium with a shared foundation for ingesting and analysing data, ensuring that datasets can be easily reused for modelling, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
Smart Energy Management Insights
The team also authored and presented the article “Smart Energy Management for Sustainable Agriculture”, demonstrating how energy efficiency, waste reduction, and digital technologies can reduce fossil fuel use in the agri-food sector. This work links the technical efforts in NOSTRADAMUS with broader sustainability and policy discussions, positioning the project as a contributor to low-carbon and resilient farming.
Collaboration with EARTHONE
Finally, AgFutura initiated and moderated the first synergy meeting with the EARTHONE project. This collaboration creates a valuable coordination channel to align pilots, share data, and avoid duplication, ultimately increasing the impact of EU-funded initiatives on the green and digital transformation of the agri-food sector.
Through these achievements, AgFutura is helping to shape the project’s vision of data-driven, sustainable agriculture while connecting our work to Europe’s wider digital and green ambitions.
