NOSTRADAMUS invites innovators, SMEs, startups, and research-driven organisations to apply for its Open Calls, designed to accelerate the development, testing, and validation of advanced digital applications for agriculture and agricultural policymaking.
Backed by Horizon Europe and implemented through cascade funding (Financial Support to Third Parties – FSTP), the NOSTRADAMUS Open Calls offer not only funding, but also access to real-world pilots, advanced data infrastructures, expert mentoring, and structured validation support.
About the Open Calls
Building on the NOSTRADAMUS “one-stop-shop” infrastructure—combining Earth Observation data, IoT, Data Cubes, and cloud-edge architectures—the project will launch two complementary Open Calls:
Open Call #1 (OC1)
Digital Applications for Farm Decision-Making & Agribusiness
- Farmers and land managers improve decision-making
- Optimise fertilisation, irrigation, crop protection, and resource use
- Increase productivity, resilience, and sustainability at farm level
Open Call #2 (OC2)
Digital Applications for Policy Creation & Evaluation
- Policymakers and public authorities design, monitor, and evaluate agri-food policies
- Use real-time and spatial data for evidence-based decisions
- Strengthen food security, resilience, and sustainability strategies
